Air Conditioning Condition

A topic most North High school students and teacher are talking about is the temperatures in the halls they walk in every day. With starting school earlier in the summer and living in northern Ohio the heat has been relentless.
Temperatures reaching around 95 degrees inside classrooms leave students hot, sweaty, and not ready to learn. Some students don’t even show up due to the heat.
The plan our school district has come up with is to try to pass a levee to build a whole new high school - in five years. How is that supposed to help students today? Our motto is “WE matter”, but to me it seems like WE don’t.
The other high school in our district has AC. Students from South High School are complaining that their school is to cold. They have to wear hoodies and sweat pants just to stay warm.
Since the administrators are so focused on 212 degrees, I hope they choose to focus on 95 degrees in classrooms. If WE matter then this issue should be taken care of today. What do you think, do we matter?
