Girls Tennis

Girls’ tennis is one of North’s multiple fall sports. The team plays throughout August and into early October. The girls have been working hard since July. The coaches of the team are Coach Comella and Timbers who co-coach the JV and Varsity teams. Coach Timbers said, “The girls are working very hard to improve their individual game. Coach Comella and I are pleased with their progress. Go Rangers!”
The team’s seniors include Katie Ponsart and Clare Hunt, who have been playing for four years, Hermi Doshi, who has been playing at North for two years, and Mckenzie Watson who is new to the team and North High. The team has also gained four freshmen. One of the freshman, Jamie Lowry, said, “It has been wonderful. I love how great the team gets along. I’ve made a lot of friends on the team.”
The girls’ next game is October 5, at South.
