King richard III found 530 years after he went missing

A skeleton found beneath a Leicester car park has been confirmed as that of English king Richard III. The King was found with 10 injuries, 8 which were conflicted to the head (at around the time of death. Two of the skull wounds were potentially fatal). One was a "slice" removing a flap of bone, the other was caused by bladed weapon which went through and hit the opposite side of the skull - a depth of more than 10cm (4ins). Other wounds include slashes and stabs to the side of the head. Dr. Appleby said: "Both of these injuries would have caused an almost instant loss of consciousness and death would have followed quickly afterwards. Some of these were considered to be 'Humiliation injuries’ which were conflicted to make his body representable at a funeral, but no one ever found his body… until now.
Based on the skeleton's DNA there was a 99.999 percent chance that the skeleton was in fact King Richard III.
So when king Richard was found all the people who thought he fled in the battle of Leicester was wrong, he died in battle with his soldiers.
