And it starts again.
On January 13, the browns hire yet again anther head coach. And hopefully this time, they were successful in their latest hire.
Meet Hue Jackson: Former Cincinnati Bengals assistant defensive backs coach.
After the Browns fired general manager Ray Farmer and head coach Mike Pettine, Jimmy Haslam had his eyes set on success. They set out immediately for a perfect match for the jobs, and they have finally found the right guy. As a new head coach, Hue Jackson will have a lot of work of work to do with the Browns, yet he also has a lot to work with. Believe it or not, the Browns have talent scattered through the team. He will have the upper hand this year, especially with the 2nd overall draft pick in 2016 and key players such as Gary Barnidge, Travis Benjamin, Brian Hartline, and Joe Thomas.
“I like challenges and, oh boy, what a challenge.” Jackson says on January 13, in the press conference after being hired.
But what will become of Johnny Manziel? Well, to be hoenst, the boy needs to grow up. This isn’t college football anymore. And Hue Jackson let him know it, he will not take any immature behavior this year. Especially with trying to bring this team back to a winning record. In fact, with the new hire, Manziel’s job may be at stake. Hue even hinted that he was not fond of the young quarterback’s behavior the night he was hired. So the brown’s future might not include Johnny Manziel under Hue Jackson. Although, it would be nice to see Hue try to straighten him out, maybe pull him back onto the right track.
But who knows if Manziel will listen, he was supposedly too stubborn to listen to legend Bernie Kosar.
