By: Helaina Ganim
Mr. McDonald is a new math teacher here at North High School. He has been an educator for two years but this is his first year here at North. He went to North when he was in high school. One of his favorite parts about teaching here is the location. He didn’t know he wanted to be a teacher until his junior year when he was inspired my Mr. Blair. He was very excited to hear about a job opening from a former chemistry teacher, Mr. Powaski and we are lucky to have him.
A few personal facts about Mr. McDonlad includes his favorite book which is The Count of Monte Cristo. He also enjoys the movies Spaceballs and Anchorman. His favorite color is red and his favorite show is "Outrageous Acts of Science." A few things Mr. McDonald participated, in high school includes the track and field team, marching band, academic decathlon and math club. He even holds a record for the track and field team for pole vault at 14’. He is very talented and I believe a good asset to our school.
