Social Studies welcomes a New Teacher
By: Paige Willhoite
Aaron May is one of our newest social studies teacher of North
high. He told me he choose north as a school at which to teach and he
previously worked at Washington elementary school. He graduated from the
university of Cincinnati in 2010 and Mentor high in 2001.
When he was in the 9th grade, his social studies teacher Mr. Kimmie influenced him to become a social studies teacher today. Up until 9th grade he never wanted to be a teacher. In school, social studies came easy to him and if he had to teach another subject it would be math.
He said the pros of teaching at north is the great staff and overall feel at the building. He hasn’t found and cons yet. He seems like a good teacher and I would like to have him as a teacher.
