Tragedy in France: Paris Terrorist Attack

On Friday 13, 2015, Paris had a terrorist attack. In multiple different places, members of the Islamic State (ISIS) synchronized bombing, shootings, and a hostage situation in the city of light. The terrorist attacks left 130 dead and hundreds of others injured. ISIS took credit for the Paris attack along with the attacks in Beirut, Lebanon and the crash of the Russian passenger plane in Egypt.
In the midst of the tragedy, President François Hollande declared France to be in a national emergency. The President said that the attacks were an act of war by ISIS. The borders of France were closed on Saturday and security has been heightened.
Most attackers are believed to be dead while one is known to be in Belgium.
