Step 1- Line your bake pan with aluminum foil and spray it with non-stick spray. Take 2 cups of marshmallows and add food coloring to them. Then put them aside for later use. (You could use colored marshmallows, but they are usually flavored)
Step 2- This is the most important step! Melt the 5 tbs. of butter on low heat in a medium pot, and stir often to prevent burning.
When the butter is completely melted, add in 8 cups of marshmallows, and WHILE STIRRING, keep it on the heat for 30 seconds, then take OFF the heat AND DON’T STOP STIRRING.
Add in the ½ tsp. of salt and the 6 cups of Rice Krispies. Stir the cereal into the marshmallows until it looks like rice crispy treats.

At this time add in the 2 cups of food colored marshmallows and stir. Those marshmallows do not have to be completely stirred in. You could also add M&M’s or your favorite candy.
Step 3- Put the rice crispy mix into the bake pan you prepared earlier. Leave them to harden for a few hours.
Step 4- Serve them and enjoy your spring, homemade, rice krispy treats!
I used Betty Crocker Brownie Mix, so these instructions go alone with that. You may use a different mix, and if you do then make sure you follow their instructions.
Step 1- Spray PAM onto the bake pan and then pre-heat the oven to 350°.
Step 2- Mix 2 eggs, 2/3 cups of vegetable oil, ¼ cup of water, and the brownie mix until it is combined and there are no batter clumps.
Step 3- Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread it (do not eat batter, it contains raw eggs). Then place the pan into the preheated oven.

Step 4- Check on the brownies after 15 minutes by sticking a toothpick into them and checking if the toothpick has any batter on it. If it does check on the bownies every 3-5 mins until they are done. Then take them out of the oven (using oven mitts), turn the oven off, and let the brownies cool.
Step 5- When the brownies are cool (in about and hour) then you can frost it with chocolate frosting if you’d like. To give it a spring look, add flower sprinkles.
Step 6- Cut the brownies and serve them to your guests or eat them all yourself.
