Do you want to have fun in your summer of 2015?
By: Emily McRoberts
There are so many activities to do in a whole summer. There’s activities fun for all ages including children, teens, and even adults. Nobody wants a boring summer. Be fit and active for the first summer of 2015. Activities spur in Cleveland. I’m surprised you haven’t heard!
SHOPPING
Do you like going shopping? There’s no reason to stick with the boring normal places you shop. Maybe other places are cheaper, but how would you know if you don’t go look? It is time to spice it up and explore your horizons.
· Shop la dolce vita at the Little Italy Murray Hill Art Walk, Friday-Sunday, June 6-8.
· Browse for treasure at the Burton Antiques Market at the Geauga County Fairgrounds, Saturday, June 14.
· Top off a day at the West Side Market with an organic vegan fro-yo topped with whatever you want at the new West Side Piccadilly Artisan Yogurt, 2547 Lorain Ave.
A BUNDLE OF FUN
Do you like outdoor activities and even indoor? Everyone needs a summer full of fun. This summer is the summer to do it. Be active, have fun, and most importantly make it a summer to remember!
· Enjoy one of the best deals in town, Cleveland Cinemas' $1 summer Kids Series, beginning Wednesday, June 18, with a 25th-anniversary showing of "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" at the Apollo Theatre, the Capitol Theatre, Chagrin Cinemas and Shaker Square Cinemas. Through Wednesday, July 23.
· Spend the night with Tim McGraw, when his Sundown Heaven Tour hits Blossom Music Center on Sunday, June 8.

· Head 50 years back in time and 50 miles east to the kitschy strip in Geneva-on-the-Lake: burger joints, ice cream stands, mini-golf, arcades and more.
· Climb the tree house, cross the pond and dance in the fountain at the Cleveland Botanical Garden's enchanting Hershey Children's Garden.
· Pony up for a family day at Lake Metroparks Farmpark, 8800 Euclid Chardon Road, Kirtland.
· Scream for Cedar Point's new Pipe Scream coaster which was just made! It’s a family ride too! A Disk'O ride where a single car travels along a 302-foot (92 m) long, U-shaped track, reaching a height of 43 feet.
MORE RELAXING
After all of that fun and adventurous activities you deserve to relax. There’s always exciting things to do but can there really be exciting things to do while relaxing? Yes, of course there is. Some of my most favorite activities are the more relaxed ones. Take a look!
· Watch a sunset from one of the lakeside swings at Lakewood Park.
· Eat out at Cleveland's best patio party scene: East Fourth Street.
· Soar into summer on a Goodtime III Super Hero cruise.
· Take a nighttime canoe ride at the Hinckley Metroparks Reservation under the Strawberry Moon, Thursday, June 12.
· Believe in Cleveland, yoga-style, when thousands of yogis convene at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on Friday, June 27, to "to raise the vibration around our great city" at 6:30 p.m. Register at innerblissyogastudio.com.
Do any of these activities boost you to want to have an amazing summer?
