Who is America still in conflict with?

America is still at war, and with people you may have never heard of. We're still in a cease fire with north Korea. With their ties to communist china war could break out again at any moment. To bring issues in Europe, N.A.T.O (north Atlantic treaty organization) estimates that 1000 Russian soldiers are stationed in the Ukraine.
What does that mean for us? There’s a huge debate whether or not the U.S should intervene. “President Obama said the United States 'is not taking military action to solve the Ukrainian problem' but trying to mobilize international pressure on Moscow”( Katharine Lackey and Oren Dorell, USA TODAY). The U.S. has bases in Bahrain, Djibouti,Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, and Kyrgyzstan, in addition to long-established bases in Germany, Japan, South Korea, Italy, and the UK. Some of these are vast, such as the Al Udeid Air Force Base in Qatar, the forward headquarters of the United States Central Command, which has recently been expanded to accommodate up to 10,000 troops and 120 aircraft (U.S. Currently Fighting 74 Different Wars … That It Will Publicly Admit Posted on May 11, 2013 by WashingtonsBlog).
Isis - you’ve heard of them, but who are they? ISIS stands for Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). The group is trying to form an independent state with territory in Iraq, Syria, and parts of Lebanon. They are led by an Iraqi cleric who goes by the name Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (ABC 13). ISIS is known for killing dozens of people at a time and carrying out public executions, crucifixions and other acts. It has taken over large swaths of northern and western Iraq. The group currently controls hundreds of square miles. It ignores international borders and has a presence from Syria's Mediterranean coast to south of Baghdad. It rules by Sharia law (CNN).
