Robert Bryson Hall II, better known by this pseudonym Logic, released his sophomore album, “The Incredible True Story,” on November 13th, 2015. Released under Def Jam Records the album sold beyond expectations. The album was created in the format of a story with a combination of songs and scenes which consisted of dialogue between the main characters of this sci-fi epic. The story stars Steven Blum (as Thomas), Kevin Randolph (as Kai) and Anna Elyse Palchikoff (as Thalia).
The story follows Thomas and Kai, two interstellar pilots in search of, “Planet Paradise.”
Our crew is in search of this so called planet paradise in order to find another planet capable of supporting life like earth did. The reason for the search is that the people of earth have drained the planet of all resources and now Earth is just a shell of its former self.

Overall this album is a definite step in the right direction for the young Maryland Rapper.
His versatility as a musician really shines through in this new project. He hits the old school vibes in Young Jesus, Smooth jazzy vibes from Innermission, r&b/pop feels from City Of Stars and the list goes on. If any complaints about this album arise it is probably due to versatility which can definitely be seen as logic being a copycat writer. Overall a solid step in the right direction for logic. 7/10.
