The nature club is here at north! by
North High school has so many activities / clubs and now the Nature Club is a part of that! Mrs.Cvelbar is the supervisor in charge. This is the first time she is the supervisor and it will continue over the years. The club consists of about 15 members so far. Anyone is welcome to join at any time in room 215B. All you have to do is attend one meeting.
The Club meets once or twice a month after school. Does the club make money? Yes of course the club makes money. They make money by collecting paper recycles, plastics in school, recycle empty ink cartridges and emptying bins. The money they make go to a club pizza party and the school.
Earth Day shirts will also be sold on Earth Day! Another project the members have been thinking about is planting seeds out in the green house in the court yard to see if it grows over winter. If you need hours for community service, bored in study hall, or need NHS the Nature Club qualifies for all of that.
Mrs.Cvelbar once said,” I’m happy I have the chance to be an adviser for the Nature Club because I get the opportunity to get to know more students who want to help their school. “Who doesn’t love the Earth? Come join in 215B today!
