Two citizens killed in cleveland
By: Sean Britton
A Cleveland police officer shot and killed a 12 year old boy, Tamir Rice, who was concealing an air soft gun at a playground. Also shot and killed was 37 year old Tanesha Anderson, an African- American, Bi-polar and Schizophrenic, by using their “take down" technique.
Tamir's Story
When the cops were called, the man even said he didn't think the gun was real, but that information wasn't passed on to the officers. When the police arrived at the playground, Tamir refused to put his hand up and quickly reached for what appeared to be a handgun. As Tamir did this, the cops shot him twice in the torso (chest) and he died the next morning (Sunday, November 23) in the hospital from the bullet wounds.
Tamir's father said, “Why not tase him? You shot him twice, not once, and at the end of the day you all don't shoot for the legs, you shoot for the upper body." His father is saying if they would have used a taser, he probably would have lived.

Tanesha's Story
The cops were called for disturbing the peace. As Tanesha called out for her brother and mother, an officer took out a Taser, pressed her head in the backseat with a "Judo" take down manner, according to her brother, Joell Anderson. Her head was banged on the concrete, while the officer put his knee on her back. But after that, she never opened her eyes or spoke another word.
"They killed my sister," Joel Anderson, Tanesha's 40-year-old brother said, according to countercurrents.com, as he fought back tears. "I watched it."
One of the cops said she was resisting, and kicking; even though she was already put in the back seat of the police cruiser. After a point she suddenly went limp and her pulse failed. The police just called EMS (Emergency Medical Service). However, Tanesha's brother Joell gives a contrary picture. "She was more of a danger to herself than others," he explained.
The Cleveland Police Department tells us that their Division of Police Use of Deadly Force Investigation Team is investigating the case. No officers involved have been fired, reprimanded, nor placed on leave.
