Step 1: Pick a date
When you are throwing any party, you need to pick a date. Pick Friday or Saturday. Make sure there are no other parties on this day. When a date is decided, text some of your friends the date and address (or if you are feeling artsy, look below on how to make cute invitations). The bigger you want the party, the more people you should invite.
Step 2: Preparations
It is spring and weather is just getting warm. The week of the party see what the weather will be like. If it’s a little chillier or supposed to rain, make sure you have a place to go inside. You don’t want your guests freezing in the rain.
Step 3: Food and Drink
Go with the most basic foods and drinks that everyone will like. Get cheese pizza and pepperoni with a side of chips. Pop, tea, and water will please everyone, so get coke, sprite, sweet tea, and water. Make a fun desert like spring themed cupcakes and brownies. (Click here to learn how to make those)
Step 4: Day of the Party
Set up the food and drinks in a place where bugs can’t get it. Set up the fire pit in a place where it will not catch anything on fire. When your guests start to arrive and the sun is going down, have an adult put the fire wood into the fire pit an light the fire.
Step 5: End of the Party
When your guests begin to leave, have an adult put out the fire with water. Then clean up the trash that might have been left outside and make sure to put the recyclables in the recycling. Put your left overs (if there are any) away.
Hope these tips will help you throw a rockin’ bonfire!
